Volleyball Recap: Niles Comes Up Short

Niles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Traverse City Central Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Niles' loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Traverse City Central, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Coming up, Niles will be playing at home against Plainwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Traverse City Central, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Unity Christian on the 11th.
