Soccer Game Preview: Browne vs. Brophy College Prep

The Browne Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Brophy College Prep Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Browne's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, Browne had just enough and edged Camelback out 3-2. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Spartans are ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brophy College Prep and Corona del Sol finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

With that draw, Brophy College Prep's record moves to 7-3-4. As for Browne, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-1.

Browne came up short against Brophy College Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 3-1. Can Browne avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
