Mazama and Klamath Union are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Mazama Vikings will welcome the Klamath Union Pelicans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mazama is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, Mazama ended up a good deal behind Phoenix and lost 52-35. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Pirates are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, Klamath Union didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hidden Valley on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win. The Pelicans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mazama's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Klamath Union, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Mazama came up short against Klamath Union in their previous matchup back in January, falling 39-28. Can Mazama avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
