Baseball Recap: Willard Comes Up Short

Willard lost against Perkins back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crimson Flashes fell 9-4 to the Pirates.

Willard saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roger Whetstone, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Willard's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Perkins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Willard is taking a road trip to face off against Norwalk at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbian at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
