Softball Recap: Green Canyon Comes Up Short

Green Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Cedar on Saturday. The Green Canyon Wolves came up short against the Cedar Reds, falling 8-2. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Taylor and Kylie Olson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Taylor scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Olson scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Taylor a new career-high in doubles (two).

Green Canyon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cedar, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Green Canyon will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Crest at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar, they will take on Cyprus in a tournament on Saturday.
