Atkins waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Northeast Guilford Rams. This was a revenge game for the Camels: when they faced off against the Rams on April 4th, they had to take a 15-14 loss.

Atkins' victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Nik Nelson, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Atkins' record is now 9-15. As for Northeast Guilford, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-15.

Coming up, Atkins will take on Rockingham County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Camels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 13.6 runs per game this season. Northeast Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
