Softball Game Preview: Crooksville Ceramics vs. Coshocton Redskins

For the second straight game, Crooksville will face off against Coshocton. The Ceramics will challenge the Redskins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crooksville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Coshocton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Crooksville barely beat Coshocton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Ceramics put the hurt on the Redskins with a sharp 11-1 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Ceramics, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Rylee Chamberlin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dalena Rollison, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Coshocton is on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16. As for Crooksville, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.
