Softball Game Preview: Fairmont Golden Tornadoes vs. Midway Raiders

The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes will welcome the Midway Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fairmont is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Red Springs with a sharp 16-3 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Tornadoes.

Meanwhile, while Midway put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Clinton. Midway was the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over Clinton. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

Midway's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fairmont, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
