It was a good run, but Campus Magnet unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richmond Hill Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Campus Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Richmond Hill, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Campus Magnet is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Richmond Hill will square off against rival John Adams at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Lions' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Spartans have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
