Mary G. Montgomery lost against Saraland back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-2. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mary G. Montgomery saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee White, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Mary G. Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Saraland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Mary G. Montgomery will square off against Davidson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Saraland, they will host St. Paul's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
