Basketball Recap: Enid Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Enid suffered their closest defeat since February 13, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Heritage Hall Chargers by a score of 52-50. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Plainsmen came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Chargers are ranked 253rd).

Enid's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Heritage Hall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enid will take on Jenks at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Hall, they will host Harding Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
