Baseball Recap: Lynn Takes a Loss

Lynn has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.05 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 16-1 to the Mars Hill Bible Panthers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lynn saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Tittle, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lynn's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Mars Hill Bible, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Lynn will face off against Winston County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Winston County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.43 runs per game on average), something Lynn will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mars Hill Bible, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Mars Hill Bible Panthers take on Lauderdale County Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
