Recap: Shiloh Generals vs. Parkview Panthers
In what's become a running theme this season, the Shiloh Generals gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They blew past Parkview 79-54. The victory was familiar territory for Shiloh who now have seven in a row.
Leading Shiloh to victory were Tylis Jordan and Jullien Cole. Jordan dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Cole scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Jordan is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Cameron Stephen was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Shiloh pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Parkview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shiloh will take on Habersham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Habersham Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Shiloh likes a good challenge. As for Parkview, Parkview and Brookwood will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brookwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Parkview in Georgia (Brookwood is ranked 79th, while Parkview is ranked 280th).
