Volleyball Recap: Ben Lippen Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ben Lippen can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to Palmetto Christian Academy on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Palmetto Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Emma Dungan paced Ben Lippen's offense, picking up seven kills. Dungan got some help from Georgia Kate Price and her 18 assists. Finally, Hannah Lyle kept Ben Lippen's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Ben Lippen's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11-1. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8-2 record this season.

Ben Lippen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 28th.
