Baseball Recap: Morrison Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Morrison's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Wyandotte Bears on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Wyandotte, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Coming up, Morrison is taking a road trip to challenge Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Morrison's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wyandotte, they will head out to face off against Fairland at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
