Basketball Recap: Mankato West Takes a Loss

If Mankato West was feeling good fresh off their 65-32 takedown of Winona on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mankato West Scarlets fell 52-39 to the Kasson-Mantorville Komets on Saturday.

Mankato West has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Kasson-Mantorville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

Looking ahead, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when Mankato West and Mankato East meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they will square off against Simley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
