Clear Creek had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Brazoswood Buccaneers. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 4-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Clear Creek's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Brazoswood, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.
