Basketball Game Preview: Marble Falls Mustangs vs. Taylor Ducks

The Marble Falls Mustangs will take on the Taylor Ducks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marble Falls knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Taylor likes a good challenge.

Marble Falls is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Gateway College Preparatory just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burnet.

Marble Falls' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-8. As for Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
