Savio hadn't done well against Incarnate Word recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Savio Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Incarnate Word Shamrocks 59-28. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Savio is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-11 record this season. As for Incarnate Word, they dropped their record down to 9-19 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Savio will head out to take on Antonian Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Antonian Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Incarnate Word has already played their next contest (against St. Michael's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
