Volleyball Game Preview: Big Horn Rams vs. Tongue River Eagles

Big Horn has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tongue River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rams will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Big Horn comes in on five and Tongue River on four.

On Friday, Big Horn made easy work of Moorcroft and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Big Horn took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-12.

Big Horn found their leader in sophomore Lilly Thomas, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Thomas.

Big Horn was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Tongue River got the win against Moorcroft on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Tongue River was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

Tongue River's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Big Horn, their victory bumped their record up to 23-7.

Big Horn beat Tongue River 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
