Soccer Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

Churchill lost against Garden City back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chargers lost 8-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Churchill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 399th, while Garden City are ranked 110th).

Churchill is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15-1. As for Garden City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2-1 record this season.

Churchill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garden City, they will head out on the road to square off against Melvindale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
