Baseball Game Preview: San Diego Vaqueros vs. Bishop Badgers

San Diego hasn't had much luck against Bishop recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Vaqueros will venture away from home to face off against the Badgers at 7:00 p.m. Bishop took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on San Diego, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, San Diego turned things around against Ben Bolt on Monday. They never let the Badgers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Vaqueros not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 12th (when they won 12-2).

Meanwhile, Bishop has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.32 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against London, falling 12-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Badgers have suffered since March 6th.

San Diego's win bumped their record up to 14-10-1. As for Bishop, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-7-2.

San Diego might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Bishop in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Vaqueros avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
