Volleyball Recap: Orion's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Orion had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Monmouth-Roseville Titans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

While Orion won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-16.

Orion's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-22.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orion will face off against rival Rockridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Monmouth-Roseville is set to challenge their familiar foe Sherrard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
