Volleyball Game Preview: Madison Warhawks vs. Escondido Charter Tigers

For the second straight game, Madison will face off against Escondido Charter. The Warhawks will square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Madison is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Escondido Charter 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warhawks have posted since April 10th.

Madison was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-106), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Madison will have to contain Colin Goss as he made an impact in Escondido Charter's last game. He had nine digs and two aces. Goss has been hot recently, having also posted 21 or more assists the last three times he's played.

Madison has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-14 record this season. As for Escondido Charter, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-14.
