Softball Recap: Caitlyn Gillette Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Eureka

While Illinois Valley Central's victory against Eureka wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Grey Ghosts never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. The Grey Ghosts haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Illinois Valley Central's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caitlyn Gillette, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
