Recap: Show Low Cougars vs. Snowflake Lobos
On Friday, the Show Low Cougars faced the Snowflake Lobos in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Show Low secured a 42-37 W over Snowflake. Winning may never get old, but Show Low sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Show Low was led to victory by Aubrie Wilson and Raquel Wilson. Wilson scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Wilson scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylee Boyce, who scored five points.
Show Low's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. As for Snowflake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-6.
Show Low will head out on the road to take on Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Snowflake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Snowflake is ranked 24th).
