 Jackson is on a 19-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Union Grove is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Jackson Jaguars will take on the Union Grove Wolverines at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Jackson knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 25 matches -- so hopefully Union Grove likes a good challenge.
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Jackson had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Longhorns 72-45 at home. Jackson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18  games by 20  points or more this season.
 It was another big night for  Taliah Cornish, who  scored 26 points along with two  steals. She hasn't dropped below two  steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shakira Gresham, who  scored 13 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Union Grove didn't have too much trouble with Statesboro at home   on Friday as they won  61-43.
 Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Union Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 28-1.
 Jackson beat Union Grove 54-47  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023. Does  Jackson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Union Grove turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
