Anahuac and Buna are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Panthers will challenge the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anahuac has given up an average of 44.7 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Anahuac ended up a good deal behind East Chambers and lost 35-21. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Everything went Anahuac's way against Buna in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Anahuac made off with a 21-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
