Baseball Recap: Oak Hills Takes a Loss

Oak Hills suffered their biggest loss since February 15, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Apple Valley Sun Devils, falling 9-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jacob Webster and Seth Marcil did some serious damage despite the final result: Webster went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Marcil scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. James Juarez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Oak Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Apple Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Oak Hills will venture away from home to square off against Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sultans will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Apple Valley, they will host Serrano at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
