Football Recap: Glades Central Comes Up Short

Glades Central's game on Thursday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They and the Sebring Blue Streaks were almost perfectly matched up, but the Raiders suffered a 14-13 loss. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although Glades Central took the loss, they still got scores from Juder Joseph and Algernod Crawford.

Glades Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Wade Antoine and Jaylin Bouie. Bouie has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last seven times he's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glades Central fell to 7-1. As for Sebring, their record now sits at 3-5.

Coming up, Glades Central is taking a road trip to take on King's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sebring, they will host Lake Gibson at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
