Volleyball Game Preview: Perry Panthers vs. Crisp County Cougars

The Perry Panthers will square off against the Crisp County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Saturday, Perry didn't have quite enough to beat Brunswick and fell 2-1. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Crisp County came up short against Colquitt County on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15.

Crisp County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Perry, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Perry came out on top in a nail-biter against Crisp County when the teams last played back in August of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
