With a playoff win on the line, Westminster Christian rose to the challenge on Thursday. They beat the Florida Christian Patriots by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-8. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Gigi Khoury was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Erin Perez, who went 4-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Westminster Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matches.

Westminster Christian's record is now 20-7-1. As for Florida Christian, they moved to 19-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Westminster Christian nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
