Soccer Recap: Halifax County Wins Going Away Against Altavista

Halifax County's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Altavista Colonels 7-1. Considering Halifax County have won three matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Halifax County moved to 3-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Altavista, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Halifax County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Altavista, they will challenge Randolph-Henry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
