Volleyball Recap: Struthers Takes a Loss

Struthers lost against Lakeview back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-6.

Struthers' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Struthers will challenge rival McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lakeview is set to square off against their familiar foe Girard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
