Two dominant backs in Jake Harper and Jacobi Edmonson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fairview Aggies will face off against the Scottsboro Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairview will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Fairview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-13 victory over Jacksonville.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jace Stevens.

Meanwhile, Scottsboro blew past St. Clair County, posting a 42-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Scottsboro's win came from a few key players Fairview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Colton Harding, who threw for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. His passing game has become a key predictor of Scottsboro's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise. Jayden Gilbert was in the mix too, providing the Wildcats with two TDs.

Fairview's record is now 12-0. As for Scottsboro, their record now sits at 8-4.
