Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt fell victim to New Home and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the New Home Leopards. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row dating back to last season.

Roosevelt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Casarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Roosevelt's record is now 0-3. As for New Home, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will head out to square off against Denver City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Home, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Idalou at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
