Volleyball Recap: Deuel Comes Up Short

Deuel came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Roncalli Cavaliers. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Deuel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.

Deuel dropped their record down to 5-18 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Roncalli, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-10.

Coming up, Deuel will face off against Hamlin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roncalli, they will venture away from home to face off against Herreid/Selby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
