Baseball Recap: Raytown South Comes Up Short

Raytown South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-2 to the Truman Patriots. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Cardinals' highest-scoring contest to date.

Raytown South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Logeman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Raytown South's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Truman, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raytown South will welcome Chrisman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Truman, they will take on Grain Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
