Basketball Game Preview: Red River Roughriders vs. Sheyenne Mustangs

The Red River Roughriders will square off against the Sheyenne Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Red River's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Sheyenne has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.

Red River will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Fargo North, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Red River came out on top against Fargo North by a score of 81-69 on Tuesday. That 12 point margin sets a new team best for the Roughriders this season.

Meanwhile, Sheyenne lost to Moorhead on the road by a 76-61 margin on Tuesday.

Sheyenne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Red River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
