After a string of nine wins, Woodcreek's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the San Ramon Valley Wolves. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Timberwolves haven't been shut out since back in September.

Several Timberwolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Samantha Campanale, who had 16 digs and one assist. Campanale is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Woodcreek's loss dropped their record down to 26-2. As for San Ramon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.

Woodcreek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rocklin on the 11th. As for San Ramon Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Ripon on the 11th.
