Volleyball Recap: Garrett Memorial Christian Comes Up Short

Garrett Memorial Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Garland County Athletes for Christ Home School Patriots.

Garrett Memorial Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Garland County Athletes for Christ Home School, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Garrett Memorial Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Emerson at 4:30 p.m. on October 2. As for Garland County Athletes for Christ Home School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Word of God Academy on the 20th.
