Basketball Recap: Parkrose Falls Short of Hood River Valley in the Playoffs

Parkrose and Hood River Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Parkrose had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 65-19 loss at the hands of the Hood River Valley Eagles. The Broncos have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Parkrose's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Hood River Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-11.

Coming up, Parkrose will face off against Putnam at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Parkrose has given up an average of 59 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Hood River Valley, they will challenge Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Hood River Valley is facing Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts at the right time seeing as Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts is stuck on a 22-game losing streak.
