Volleyball Recap: Elsie Allen Takes a Loss

Elsie Allen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Rancho Cotate Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 7th.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-7, 25-6.

Leading Rancho Cotate to victory were Avery Johnson and Delilah Morie. Johnson had 13 aces and ten assists, while Morie had five aces and two assists. Those two assists gave Morie a new career-high.

Elsie Allen's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Rancho Cotate, they pushed their record up to 24-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Elsie Allen nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
