Recap: Campbell County Camels vs. Stevens Raiders
The Campbell County Camels lost against the Stevens Raiders back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Campbell County fell 55-45 to Stevens. Campbell County has not had much luck with Stevens recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Camels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Onna Castellanos, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Cami Curtis, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Campbell County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Stevens, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Campbell County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Sheridan is ranked seventh, while Campbell County is ranked fifth). As for Stevens, they will head out on the road to square off against Watertown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
