Aynor had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Dillon Christian Warriors to the tune of 65-29 on Saturday.

Aynor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Robinson Mendez led the charge by going 9-for-16 en route to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those 20 points gave Mendez a new career-high. Jamarion Mitchell was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 assists.
Aynor was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dillon Christian only posted four.

Aynor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-40 loss against North Myrtle Beach on the 24th. As for Dillon Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 45-42 win against Marlboro Academy on the 24th.
