Volleyball Recap: Delphi Community Takes a Loss

Delphi Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Caston Comets. The Oracles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Payton Morrow paced Delphi Community's offense, picking up five kills. Morrow got some help from Abby Brown and her six assists. Alissa Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Delphi Community's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Caston, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Delphi Community didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rochester on the 23rd. As for Caston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Northwestern on the 23rd.
