Soccer Game Preview: First Flight vs. Southwestern Randolph

The First Flight Nighthawks will head out on the road to square off against the Southwestern Randolph Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Flight's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

First Flight is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They beat Washington by a goal, winning 3-2. That's two games straight that First Flight have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Southwestern Randolph entered their tilt with Jordan-Matthews on Monday with 17 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 18. They blew past the Jets 4-0. Southwestern Randolph might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 contests by three goals or more this season.

Chris Betancourt and Aaron Avina scored all four of Southwestern Randolph's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 46 goals.

Southwestern Randolph's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for First Flight, their win bumped their record up to 14-3-2.
