Basketball Recap: Mariana Hyppolito's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Abundant Life Academy over Gilead

Several Abundant Life Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mariana Hyppolito, who posted 12 points and seven steals. Hyppolito has become a key player for Abundant Life Academy: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 4-6 otherwise. Jaelle Vital was another key player, putting up five points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Abundant Life Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
