Softball Recap: St. Ignace Comes Up Short

St. Ignace couldn't beat Pickford on Monday even though they stacked 11 runs on them in the fourth inning. The Saints took a 20-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (11), the Saints still had to take the loss.

St. Ignace has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Pickford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season.

St. Ignace will welcome Inland Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pickford has already played their next matchup (against Harbor Light Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
