Softball Recap: Ray Wins Going Away Against San Tan Foothills

Ray won the last time they faced San Tan Foothills and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Ray Bearcats' way against the San Tan Foothills Sabercats as the Ray Bearcats made off with a 19-4 victory.

Kaylee Servant was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josselyn Lechuga, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Ray now has a winning record of 2-1. As for San Tan Foothills, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ray will challenge Bisbee at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Tan Foothills, they will take on Payson at 3:45 p.m. on March 19th.
